Founded in 2001, ICEP Europe (formally known as Profexcel) was part of University College Dublin, Ireland, Campus Company Development Programme and was the overall winner of the sixth Campus Company Development Programme award in 2001.
ICEP Europe developed one of the world’s first online courses on Autism in partnership with one of Irelands leading teacher training colleges - St Patrick’s College Drumcondra - and this initiative was supported and part funded by the Government of Ireland and the Irish Department of Education and Skills under the National Development Plan.
In 2007, ICEP Europe partnered again with St Patricks, Drumcondra to offer teachers an Online Certificate/Diploma in Special/Inclusive Education.
Their university accredited course portfolio has since developed, with the addition of the Advanced Diploma in Inclusive Education, offered in partnership with Queens University Belfast, School of Education.
ICEP Europe, provides online education to teachers, psychologists and other professionals in the Ireland, Britain and internationally.
ICEP Europe’s Applied Behaviour Analysis CPD course is also accredited by The Psychological Society of Ireland.
In 2009, ICEP Europe was delighted to be designated the Sole SESS approved provider of online courses in special education needs by the Irish Department of Education and Science further attesting to our commitment to offering quality assured education in the area of special needs.
